What to Expect
Easy Access +
Located right on Main Street in Bunn! Free parking is available behind the church. We have two entrances, one in the back and one in the front. Both are ready to use, but guests usually prefer the front entrance because it directly brings you into the sanctuary. The back entrance brings into the parlor first.
No Fancy Clothes Required +
Pretty dresses and skirts, polo shirts and button downs, Hawaiian print and stripes, khaki pants and jeans. You’ll find it all here on a Sunday morning. Folks come dressed to worship, not to offer a fashion show.
No Assigned Seats +
Once you get in the Sanctuary, please feel at home to sit wherever you want. Feeling shy? Feel free to sit in the back. Want a front row seat? It’s yours!
No Singling You Out +
We won’t ask you to stand, introduce yourself, or single you out as our guest in any way during the service. We are friendly people though, so be prepared for a “Hello” and a “How are you?”
What’s Worship Like?
In worship, we encounter God together.
At Bunn United Methodist, we worship in a more traditional manner. We sing together classic hymns and newer songs. We pray with and for each other and proclaim the faith together through the Apostles’ Creed. We read the Holy Scriptures and proclaim the Gospel Message of Salvation through Jesus. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month and on special Sundays.
