Following Jesus is about more than just “Church on Sunday.” Following Jesus means living like Jesus and that means loving people, feeding people, caring for people, teaching people, and blessing people. We do this through many ways but here are just a few examples. We would love to have you join us!
Worship brings us closer to God and to each other. Through our encounters with Jesus and other people, we learn and grow in our faith.
Our Food Pantry opened during the COVID-19 Pandemic to serve people who were struggling with food insecurity. Today, there are still individuals and families in need of assistance. We seek to combine with the efforts of other area ministries to meet this need. In season, our garden grows fresh vegetables that are offered at the food pantry. Currently our food pantry is open on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.
Vacation Bible School, or VBS, is an opportunity for us to interact with the community by offering a safe and fun place for children come and hear for the first time or hear again, the good news of Jesus Christ.
God created all things and anyone who has had a beloved pet know just how great a connection it can be. Celebrated around the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, we gather to bless our animal friends for health, and life, and in some cases, patience to leave the squirrels alone.
We have several opportunities throughout the year to gather and study the Bible and to grow in faithful living. One particular opportunity is our Breakfast Bible Study. Currently gathering at Farmer’s Kitchen on Thursdays at 7:00 am, we enjoy a meal and fellowship and take a deep dive into Scripture.
